MAT64 describes himself as an “old-school SID squarewave extremist born to be the terror of the MAT101”. For his last one on Cervello Meccanico Records, Allegretto Con Moto Ma Rubato, this Rome-based Toronto alumnus usually packing nuff elektro krunch, totally flipped the script and rearranged a few of his videogame-inspired 8-bit pieces for “synthetic chamber orchestra”, as he puts it.
