Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve’s Richard Norris compiles his personal all-time faves for Red Bull Music Academy Radio.

Norris has been a major player in dance music for many years, finding fame in the ’90 as The Grid and more recently as one half of Beyond the Wizard’s Sleeve with Erol Alkan. He also launched the The Time and Space Machine project in which psychedelic samples are chopped and spliced not only musically but visually, as part of an arresting live show.

Not content with making incredible music, Norris also wrote the official biography of DJ legend Paul Oakenfold which was published earlier this year. Unsurprisingly, Richard’s frame of musical reference is pretty immense, and to say that his Headphone Highlights selection is diverse, would be quite an understatement: from Bo Diddley to Brian Eno to 808 State to Morgan Geist in just one hour worth of musical astonishment.
