Last week saw LA beat-wizard Carlos Nino and composer/arranger extraordinaire Miguel Atwood-Ferguson translate some of J Dilla's classic music into the world of the chamber orchestra, with the help of a 40-plus strong family of musicians, and guest appearances from Common, Dwele, Talib Kweli, Bilal, Posdnuos, Amp Fiddler, Illa J and many more.
