Ever wondered what Jeff Mills was up to since he lectured as our first tutor ever at the Red Bull Music Academy 1998 in Berlin? Well, in between creating sound installations for the Le Futurisme exhibition in Paris and turning X-102’s The Rings Of Saturn into a piece of cinema-ready millsart at the Géode, he’s named a member of France’s Legion of Honour recently, according to a few online sources.

We have no clue how this came about exactly, but it’s quite safe to say that it won’t happen to these guys very soon.

Anyway, big time congrats to Jeff.
