Zwicker is the new moniker of Zurich-based producer and DJ Cyril Boehler who had a tweak, err, streak of internationally acclaimed broken beat underground hits on the now-defunct Straight Ahead label during the early noughties. After several 12” releases on Bear Funk, Compost Black Label, and Get Physical, his new album Songs For Lucid Dreamers is now ready for release on Compost on April 24: a 12-track set of luscious 4/4 lullabies with a downright, imminent pop feel, and contributions by Matt Didemus of Junior Boys and former Seelenluft singer Olivera Stanimirov, amongst many others.
