There are a few artists that can lay claim to truly changing the direction of music. Martyn is one such man. Having made his name in the drum 'n' bass scene, this Dutchman-cum-Washington-DC-resident, discontented with limiting himself to one BPM, decided to switch up his game. Having proved he can turn his hand to any genre going, it's in the dubstep sphere that Martyn continues to endure. However, his production work carries the hallmarks of house, techno, soul, jungle and a whole load of who-the-hell-knows-what that seems to lift spirits and make heads nod.
