Amenta wooing the ICA crowd earlier in the year
Not long after her term at this year's Academy, Amenta relocated to London. Was it her time at Tooley Street that encouraged the move? "I was living in Berlin months before" she explains, "but after Red Bull Music Academy and meeting so many amazing artists, I found it really hard to leave. So I didn't." Now based in Hackney, she's part of the borough's ever-growing arts scene. Last week she performed with Academy family within Hackney Wicked, this Saturday she'll be at Little London Fields.
