Red Bull Music Academy Session A Coruña presents Pilooski
The application phase for the 2012 edition of the Red Bull Music Academy in New York City has started. To pave the way for the next RBMA we will touch down in selected spots worldwide to give you a taste of what the Academy is all about. Have all your questions about the Academy and the application process answered, learn a thing or two, and have some fun along the way. Your guest lecturer for today is RBMA participant Pilooski, who created some big waves in recent years since attending the Rome Academy edition in 2004. As part of the D.I.R.T.Y. crew he has put out the now legendary series of Dirty Edits EPs, collecting forgotten gems, sometimes editing them beyond recognition. Between that and his love for early sci-fi, he's made time to do remixes for everyone from LCD Soundsystem to the Mystery Jets or Jarvis Cocker. And if that all wasn't enough, his involvement in the Discodeine project has earned him a place in the hall of fame modern disco. Club night will start after the session at 12pm at Blend Music Club, Calle Alcalde Folla Yordi No. 8. The RBMA Session as well as the club night are free of charge!
