Red Bull Music Academy Session Valencia presents Âme
The application phase for the 2012 edition of the Red Bull Music Academy in New York City has started. Ever wondered what the Academy actually feels like? To pave the way for the next RBMA we are touching down in selected spots worldwide to give you a taste of the Academy vibe. Have all your questions about the RBMA and the application process answered, learn a thing or two, and have some fun along the way. Your lecturers for today are close Academy affiliates Âme, a production duo from Germany who are constantly pushing the envelope of what house and techno can be about. Wandering between the cold depths of Detroit techno and German krautrock electronics to old school house of the NYC, Jersey and Windy City kind, they have created a vibe that is truly special. They also run the highly rated Innervisions label alongside Academy lecturer Dixon. As no Academy day is complete without a proper after-party, the Âme guys know how to rock dancefloors as well. Club night will start at 1am at Excuse Me?, Sala Sider, C/Tomasos 12.
