Interviewer
Eothen "Egon" Alapatt
Eothen "Egon" Alapatt came to fame as the brainiac business manager of Stones Throw records, though his roots lie in crate-digging and rifling through phone directories to track down the names and faces behind history’s most obscure acetates, private-press funk LPs and jazz masterpieces. These days he puts these sleuthing talents to use in running his own archive label Now Again and managing legendary hip hop producer Madlib. He’s also an incredibly snappy dresser.
