Everyone that was on Dance Mania records, when it closed down, they just stopped DJing, as far as Chicago goes. So we thought, "Fuck it, we're gonna take over."

As long as it's good tracks, we're gonna play it!

The term juke? It came from this one track Gantman and Puncho called 'Let Me See You Juke'.

Dancers from Chicago really like bass, claps, something crazy, something unexpected… that's what we tried to keep up.

Me and DJ Manny will go back to back all day… and then take those tracks and test them out at the battlegrounds or the parties.

Yeah, just do your own thing... It ain't what you do, but how you do it.

We're not here to take the money from the kids, that's the whole point. They pay and then it goes back to whoever wins the battle.
