Kabuki

Precision, Hanau, Germany

Kabuki, aka Jan Hennig, belongs to the most experienced German drum 'n' bass DJs and producers. He founded the Precision label with his partner Mainframe and also manages the label Spectrum Works to offer us musical experiments below the d&b speed limit. Kabuki began his curriculum in music as a student on classical guitar at the conservatory in Frankfurt and also studied jazz theory, aural training and composition at the American Institute of Music in Vienna. Travelling between Germany and Japan on a regular basis, Kabuki used to work as a sound designer for Sony and widened his range of interest by releases on labels like Reinforced, Liquid V and Sonar Kollektiv.
