This was really awesome. Thanks Red Bull. The first thing I ever heard by Cabaret Voltaire was the 12" of Sensoria. I was hooked. They were doing something that no one else was even thinking about. I buy all of Rich's stuff, but I've always wondered what this bloke was up to. Thanks for answering that question. :D

great to hear from mal, i am in my early 20's but i've been listening to cabs since i was in middle school so it feels like seeing an old friend.

cabaret voltaire are absolutely legendary. what a gift to get this much interview with stephen - fantastic!

This was great and took me back to a time in music that was so experimental and exciting. I still have my Cab Voltaire albums on vinyl. It's fantastic that Steve Mallinder got his Ph.D and is a lecturer now. I'd love to sit in on one of his classes. Thank you Red Bull Music Academy.
