Arabian Prince

Stones Throw, Los Angeles, USA

The Arabian Prince has been making robots shake their shit since the early '80s, producing his own tracks and playing live shows with The Egyptian Lover, World Class Wreckin' Cru and the LA Dream Team. It was his early electro rap experiments which got him some serious attention and respect from his L.A. contemporaries, and soon his innovation in the studio and dedication to the party led to him working with N.W.A. alongside Dr Dre. In his session at the Red Bull Music Academy Brother Rab joins the dots between L.A., Detroit and Miami, and breaks down the fundamentals of the L.A. scene in the early '80s.
