Various Assets 2011

From now until February 24, every Monday thru Friday, we add one track for download. 16 in total. All recorded at the Red Bull Music Academy 2011 in Madrid. From arpeggiated acid to experimental exotica, these are just some of those once-in-a-lifetime collaborations that made our five weeks inside the Jurassic-Park-like compound at Matadero Madrid all so special. Watch out for the full 35-track 'Various Assets – Not For Sale' 2011 compilation set to drop on physical format February 24.

Rescued From The Fire #28: Nightwave

The gist of "Rescued From The Fire" is simple enough. We ask musicians, journalists, and music lovers to pick a piece of wax they would save from the embers of their burning house if, God forbid, the fire-department ever went on strike. For their debut album release "They! Live" on 50 Weapons (which is today, btw), Benjamin Damage & 2011 Academy participant Doc Daneeka launch a video for the album track, "Halo" featuring the UK singer Abigal Wyles. Hazy tune, even hazier vid. Highly recommended. Stream it below.
