Nguzunguzu 'Warm Pulse' EP

Consisting of Daniel Pineda and class of 2011 Academy participant Asma Maroof, the Los Angeles-based duo Nguzunguzu drop their latest EP Warm Pulse digitally today, via Hippos In Tanks, with a physical release slated for August 14th. A shining example of the ravenous, internet-based, postmodern nature of contemporary dance music, the pair’s sound spreads tentacles across styles as varied as Trevor Horn-esque Fairlight jams, UK bass experiments, futuristic r&b, tropical riddims,  hi-tech house and ambient pastures. Stream the whole EP below,  and check the duo’s DJ set from the Academy's curated stage at Sónar Festival this year.
