Wheedle's Groove

Independent Seattle-based label Light In The Attic steps up to show us just how much heat was in the Seattle streets in the 60s and 70s, with their compilation and documentary Wheedle's Groove. But rather than just give the history lesson, Light In The Attic flip the whole project by bringing in producers Dynomite D and DJ Mr Supreme to twist the old Seattle funk into a new age. "Good music is alive forever", as Overton Berry drops it - and when past and present hook up in this way, you can expect something quite special indeed.
