Four Tet, London, UK
In his teens Kieran Hebden formed the band Fridge, was signed to Output Recordings (Trevor Jackson's label) and released three critically-acclaimed albums. He released his first solo album as Four Tet in '99 and confirmed his emergence as a significant new talent. Last year the second Four Tet album was released and received worldwide attention, while Kieran also produced a string of classic remixes for artists such as Aphex Twin, David Holmes, Cinematic Orchestra and Pole. Fridge supported Badly Drawn Boy's live band on tour and played sessions on Johnny Marr & Bernard Sumner's last album. As Four Tet he toured the US and Europe to perform both as a DJ and with his live laptop shows.
