Rome, Italy
Founded in 1585 under Pope Sixtus V, Santa Cecilia were the first Italian orchestra to concentrate activity on symphonic music. Centuries later, they still stand as one of Rome's leading musical collectives, also administring a music school and a charity institution. For this session, cellist Francesco Storino, pianist Laura De Mariassevich, and tuba player Gregorio Mazzarese came along to share classical secrets.
